This house is built on the ground of the Green Gulch’s Zen center in Muir Beach, California. Originally conceived as a passive solar demonstration,  its design incorporates handcrafted traditional Japanese joinery, and passive solar heating system.  It integrates itself very well with the other buildings of the center, as well as within its natural environment,
