Dharma Sanga

Dharma Sanga is a Buddist meditation hall built in the Sangre de Christo Mountains of Southern Colorado. The hall's frame and exterior shell was designed following simple, inexpensive conventional barn construction techniques. The interior was finished with fine Japanese joinery. The plan, based on principles of sacred geometry, accommodates 10-day Seshin retreats. The building responds to the climate on site and used local resources in its construction.
