William A. Aultman is an environmental designer with expertise in biological systems, environmental planning and geospatial technology. He is currently lead designer at A + DG, a planning/design firm specializing in the structural and biological design of holistic, ecologically sound, environments. With over a decade of experience in applied ecology, landscape architecture and environmental planning, his approach to design, from site specific plans to regional visions, contemplates and addresses the long-term affects of human existence on planet earth. In addition to being a guest speaker in the Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture at Clemson University, Mr. Aultman's major focus today is the synergy of an integrated design ethic connecting agriculture, human settlement and the environment.
